That's perfectly fine! While visuals like Hero Forge screenshots or sketches help, a detailed written description is often enough for me to get started. Part of my process involves creating initial visual concepts based on your description for us to refine together.

I create detailed digital portraits of any fantasy character! This includes D&D heroes, MMO avatars, original story characters (OCs), fantasy versions of people from photos, and more. If you can imagine it, I'm excited to help visualize it!

Once we finalize your commission details, the half body/full body commissions are typically completed within 2 weeks. (Premium prints take additional production/shipping time after digital art approval).

Once you pick your portrait type and check out, I’ll follow up via email (within 12 hours) to guide you through a straightforward commission process. My workflow is collaborative and gives you clear checkpoints from the very start.

To explore strong compositional possibilities efficiently, I begin by creating a unique generated foundation, highly customized with the details from your email. This lets me rapidly test dynamic poses and layouts for your character.

From this initial foundation, the real custom work begins. I invest significant time to manually develop one refined concept for your review — you’ll see it in about two weeks. This concept receives extensive hand‑customization based directly on your character’s description: incorporating key gear, adjusting features, capturing their personality, and setting the mood. My goal is to present a strong, tailored interpretation that already feels like your character.

Using that concept as our launch point, we move into detailed collaboration. I meticulously hand‑paint and customize every aspect — expressions, lighting, textures, atmosphere — refining the portrait through drafts and incorporating your feedback with revisions until you absolutely love the final result.

Once you give final approval, you’ll receive the high‑resolution digital file, ready to share or print. (Premium prints, if ordered, begin production right after digital approval.)

It almost never happens, but if your brief turns out to be something I don’t take on (usually explicit NSFW, heavy gore, or full‑mech designs), I’ll tell you right away and issue a 100 % refund the same day.
